What is Sharemine?

Sharemine is the Shared Mobility Platform that allows operators to quickly and easily build a Community which offers the following services:

  • Car Sharing

    Shared Mobility service managed by a Community Manager that provides a vehicle fleet for Community members, otherwise known as End User.

  • Ride Sharing

    Shared Mobility service managed by a Community Manager that allows sharing of vehicle trips among Community members.

The Community is fully configurable online and the Community Manager has at his disposal a dashboard that allows tracking of: number of users and vehicles currently active, drivers, riders, bookings and travel in progress. The dashboard also allows rental or ride revenue to be tracked according to rates defined by the Community Manager.

Where is Sharemine active?

Sharemine is currently active in Italy, UK, France, Spain and as soon as possible it will be available in the rest of Europe and North America.

Who is the Community Manager?

The Community Manager can be an individual entrepreneur, or a Micro and Small Company or Community, all of whom are able to create and configure their own Car-Ride Sharing community.

Sharemine reserves the right to decline your registration for any reason, and the following are the minimum eligibility requirements:

  • The service must be active in the country where Sharemine works;

  • The Community Manager must have a valid VAT Number in the country where Sharemine works.

Who are your Community Members?

They are End Users (individuals) who are registered in your Community and that are able to book your cars (Car Sharing) or find a trip (Ride sharing).

What does the Community Manager need to sign up?

Before signing up, you should have your personal information (e.g. Identity card, credit card and driver license) and company data (e.g. VAT number, IBAN) if relevant.

How does the Community Manager sign up?

You can sign up using your email address and your mobile phone number. Once you've created your account and confirmed your identity via email and mobile, you will be able to create your community.

To complete your registration and to create the Community you will need to provide the following information:

  • Personal data (Name, Surname, Date and place of birth, Country, Gender);
  • Company information (Company name, Address, VAT Number);
  • Payment method (Bank account);
  • Identity document information (Type, Identity card number, Nation, Date of issue, Issuing body, Expiry date, double-sided ID scanning);
  • Choose the service model: Ride sharing or Car Sharing;
  • Community description:
    • Name of Community
    • Description
    • Name of Subdomain
    • Logo of the Community
  • Confirm the offer packages

What should I do if I don' t find my country listed?

How do your Community Members sign up?

Members can sign up using their email address and mobile phone number.

To complete their registration they will need to provide the following information:

  • Personal data (Name, Surname, Date and place of birth, Country, Gender);
  • Identity Document information (Type, Identity card number, Nation, Date of issue, Issuing body, Expiry date, double-sided ID scanning).

How does a Community Manager configure his Community?

You will have a dashboard that allows you to manage all your Community's information:

  • Number of registered Community members (End User)
  • Number of Vehicles
  • Number of ongoing bookings
  • Number of rentals made
  • Total Revenues
  • Community settings
  • Profile settings

How does a Community Manager customize his web site Community?

You can customize your community with the following features:

  • Name
  • Logo
  • Subdomain
  • Layout: Theme and colour
  • Language
  • Terms and Conditions (these are the T&Cs between a Community Manager and their Community Members)

Can a Community Manager be a manager of more than one Community?

Yes, the Community Manager can have one or more Communities. For example he can decide to create both Car Sharing and Ride Sharing Communities.

Can a Community Manager change his personal data?

Yes, you can change your current personal data by simply loging into your "Personal Profile". If you have any problem fill out the "Contact Us" form and the Sharemine Team will contact you shortly.

Can a Community Manager use any name for his Community?

Yes, you can choose any name for your Community, as long as it is not already in use.

What does "Subdomain" mean?

A Subdomain is the dedicated URL that your users will use to access your Community (e.g. yourcommunity.sharemine.com in which "Yourcommunity" is the name you have choose in the registration process).
